Aftercare
Taking care of your new tattoo is just as important as the art itself.
First 24–48 Hours
- • Keep the bandage on for the time recommended by your artist (usually 2–6 hours).
- • Wash gently with unscented antibacterial soap and lukewarm water. Pat dry—do not rub.
- • Apply a thin layer of fragrance-free moisturizer or the ointment your artist recommends.
Healing Phase (3–14 Days)
- • Do not pick, scratch, or peel scabs. Let them fall off naturally.
- • Avoid direct sunlight, swimming pools, hot tubs, and soaking in baths.
- • Wear loose, clean clothing over the area to prevent irritation.
Long-Term Care
Sun Protection
Always use SPF 50+ on healed tattoos to prevent fading.
Moisturize
Keep skin hydrated daily to maintain vibrancy.
Touch-Ups
Contact your artist if you need a touch-up after healing.
